Michelle Williams may have risen to fame as one-third of the top-selling girl group Destiny’s Child, but her solo resume is nothing to shake a stick at.

From finding success on Gospel charts to Broadway, TV, philanthropy, podcasting, mental health advocacy, and more, the multi-hyphenate GRAMMY winner has built a portfolio worthy of envy.

Yet, her triumphs have not shielded her from ongoing criticism for being the “least known member of the group” – a status she’s chosen to revel in (and ride all the way to the bank) courtesy of a partnership with Uber.

Taking to Rolling Stone Australia recently, Williams not only chatted it up about DC3’s iconic, early 2000’s cover of the mag but also detailed the inspiration behind her self-deprecating ad with the rideshare service and reflected on the impact of some of her most embarrassing on-screen moments.

Before Meghan Trainor thrills audiences across North America on ‘The Timeless Tour’ (her first jaunt in 7 years), she’s looking to get them acquainted with her forthcoming sixth studio album – the June 14-due ‘Timeless.’

The follow-up to the Billboard 200 top 20-peaking ‘Takin’ It Back’ (2022), news of the ‘Timeless’ LP came shortly after Trainor unveiled its first single ‘Been Like This’ featuring fellow GRAMMY winner T-Pain.

“She got that booty / That type of boom-boom, that bass that I like / I said, ‘Who, me?’ I keep it juicy / So, better hold on, hold on for dear life,” she croons on the Gian Stone-produced cut.

Nearly two weeks after the song hit digital shelves, Trainor and Pain lifted the lid on its accompanying music video on Wednesday (March 27).

Hop inside to see the Phillip R. Lopez and Lauren Dunn-directed action.
